Snowflakes by Carrie Burrell and Laura Ellen Anderson
Snowflakes is a reassuring story about a City girl Mia who moves to the forest with her grandma. Everything is different in the forest and this makes Mia anxious and worried. Mia overcomes her fears and realises that everyone is different and perfect in their own ways. “Every snowflake is different , every snowflake is perfect”.
This is a Beautifully illustrated book that my children love to read. There are many emotions expressed throughout the story and for this reason I think this book would be great for PSHE, covering the core themes: health and wellbeing, relationships and living in the wider world.
